Client Story

The Couture Club
We worked with The Couture Club to help them launch their first-ever B2B eCommerce platform. Early meetings of the engagement were heavily focused on consulting the brand on how best to activate such a platform. Fast forward to today, the platform is now operating on the world stage and enables retail partners and sales agents to place wholesale orders with ease.

Launching the first B2B eCommerce platform for the street-style fashion brand, The Couture Club

The platform was designed to grow The Couture Club’s wholesale revenues by enabling the brand to get the most out of its retail partners’ digital channels worldwide, maximising time spent with these partners, encouraging them to spend more and driving repeat purchase, improving stock allocation, and serving as a useful selling tool during buying meetings.

Before working with us

The Couture Club did not have a dedicated B2B eCommerce platform. Before Banks Wholesale, they would process orders manually and through their D2C eCommerce website. This would typically involve sending linesheets to retailers over email and again receiving orders via the same method. Both of these were counterproductive and required a lot of manual intervention. This is where we began highlighting the benefits of investing in a B2B eCommerce platform.

Improved selling capabilities

The platform provides a seamless two-way ordering process between the brand and its retailers, which greatly improves their selling capabilities. Buyer tools make it easy for retail partners to shop immediately available stock and upcoming stock, place bulk orders, create and manage linesheets, manage their account as well as adding multiple buyers to their account. For the brand, the platform provides a number of CMS tools to make it easy to create and manage product catalogues, manage dynamic pricing across different retailers and groups, retailer accounts, support queries, and managing orders. The platform itself has many of the brand’s processes built into it so that many of the tasks are done on autopilot.

How we increased productivity

Banks Wholesale has transformed the way the brand conducts its wholesale business and as such productivity for all key stakeholders has greatly improved. A notable improvement has been identified within their finance department. Previously, this department would generate invoices containing sometimes hundreds of line items by manually inputting everything one-by-one. This is no longer the case as with Banks Wholesale invoices can be automatically generated with one-click and based on a number of set invoice templates built into the platform. However, most notable has been the way in which the platform has transformed the brand’s ability to conduct its wholesale business entirely online. Whereas sending linesheets and taking orders over email was previously the norm, Banks Wholesale now handles all of this in an environment that boosts productivity throughout all areas of the selling/buying journey.

What They Said

“Banks Digital has enabled us to activate our first B2B eCommerce platform allowing us to efficiently sell to retailers and sales agents worldwide. The tools that are now at our disposal have helped our brand to be far more productive and efficient in this area. We chose Banks Digital over other providers such as NuOrder based on their level of detail when it came to understanding the benefits of such a platform, their ability to implement customisations, and overall pricing. I highly recommend using them!”
